Crazy October

I finally got to post some new items to my shop last night here they are:
My grandma knitted the two scarves with really pretty fur that is shimmery. This month has been so hectic. Our family has about 20 birthdays in October so those combined with school, I've had no time to do any crocheting. I've had the two berets made for a few weeks now, but just haven't had the time to list them in my shop. Yesterday I finished up with my Economics class, I got a B on the final, so I was pretty happy about that. I start my new Econ class this next week. I really hate econ but I need it for my accounting major. This Saturday is Mark's 24th birthday. I think we are just going out for sushi. It should be a nice day. My next crochet project is two pillows for my step-mom. I'm excited about how they are going to turn out. I'll post pics when I am finished.

Give Me Patience Lord!!

Today brought some awesome news for my step mom Stacy. She has been waiting for what seems like forever, to hear about this job. The company had a hiring freeze so that is what postponed everything. Stacy didn't expect to hear from them at least until the beginning of next year. However, Jesus answered all of our prayers and she got the job offer!! Thank you Jesus!!! I am so happy for her. Now we wait to hear about what is going to happen with this job that Mark is waiting to hear from. He has already had the interviews and feels like it went well. I ran over a verse today in my bible that I needed to hear, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" - Philippians 4:6-8. This just reassured me that I cannot be anxious about anything because Jesus is in control and no matter what happens he knows what is best for our lives. Mark has gone through a lot of disappointments this past year, but he has never given up. So please keep us in your prayers. :)
